Closed lacing and a quiet, disciplined line give the MC Oxford Burgundy Box Calf, Dark Red Sole the composure expected of a proper oxford. The colourway is burgundy box calf, kept deliberately quiet so the line of the shoe leads. Dress it up with worsted or down with cotton; it holds its own either way.

Materials: Burgundy box calf leather

Sole: Dark red Goodyear welt leather sole with button rubber injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Nourish the upper occasionally with a matching cream and finish with a soft brush; it will deepen into a rich patina over time.
