A double monk with two straps set across the upper, the MC Chicago Brown Patina Leather sits between the dress shoe and something more personal. The colourway is brown patina, kept deliberately quiet so the line of the shoe leads. It carries weddings and board meetings with the same composure.

Sole: Brown Goodyear Welt mixed leather-rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
