A penny loafer of quiet proportions, the MC Penny Loafer Olive Calf, Forest Green Sole moves comfortably between tailoring and something looser. Rendered in olive calf, the pair carries its colour with the restraint the shape asks for. It carries weddings and board meetings with the same composure.

Lining: Beige calf leather

Sole: Forest green Goodyear Welt, leather sole with buttons rubber injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Feed it now and then with a neutral or matching cream and a soft brush; the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
