The MC Penny Loafer Navy Calf & Navy Alligator keeps the penny loafer honest, a simple strap over the vamp and nothing else to announce it. The upper is navy calf and navy alligator, hand-finished so the tone reads differently from every angle. It sits easily under a business suit and is just as convincing with flannel trousers on a Saturday.

Materials: Navy painted calf, navy exotic alligator

Lining: Red calf leather

Sole: Red Goodyear Welt, leather sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
