The MC Penny Loafer Brown Patina, Sport Sole is a penny loafer: no laces, a clean saddle across the vamp, and an easy way of dressing. Here it is cut in brown patina, chosen for depth of colour rather than for effect. A shoe for the working week that never looks out of place at the weekend.

Sole: Sport rubber Xtralight running sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Feed it now and then with a neutral or matching cream and a soft brush; the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
