The MC Mayfair Dark Brown Cordovan is a derby: open lacing, quarters stitched over the vamp, and a little more ease than an oxford. Rendered in dark brown cordovan, the pair carries its colour with the restraint the shape asks for. It suits city days and the evenings that follow them.

Materials: Dark brown cordovan

Lining: Red calf leather

Sole: Cognac Goodyear Welt, leather sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Nourish the upper occasionally with a matching cream and finish with a soft brush; it will deepen into a rich patina over time.
