The MC Jazz Purple Patina is a single monk: one strap, one buckle, and a line that stays uncluttered. Rendered in purple patina, the pair carries its colour with the restraint the shape asks for. Equally at home with a dark suit or an odd jacket and grey trousers.

Lining: Brown calf leather

Sole: Lilac Goodyear Welt, mixed leather-rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Nourish the upper occasionally with a matching cream and finish with a soft brush; it will deepen into a rich patina over time.
