Two straps drawn across the vamp give the MC Chicago Red Leather Sole the quiet authority of a double monk. The proportions are drawn in the atelier and refined over successive fittings. It belongs with tailoring, though it takes to denim without complaint.

Sole: Red Goodyear welt leather sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
