Two straps drawn across the vamp give the MC Chicago Burgundy Patina the quiet authority of a double monk. For this colourway the atelier has used burgundy patina, warm in daylight and darker under lamplight. Equally at home with a dark suit or an odd jacket and grey trousers.

Materials: Burgundy patina

Lining: Black calf leather

Sole: Dark red Goodyear Welt, leather sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
