A double monk with two straps set across the upper, the MC Chicago Black Box Calf & Black Alligator sits between the dress shoe and something more personal. This version is made in black box calf and black alligator, finished by hand until the colour settles. It sits easily under a business suit and is just as convincing with flannel trousers on a Saturday.

Materials: Black box calf, black exotic alligator

Lining: Beige calf leather

Sole: Black original Dainite® rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
