The Maison

Our Story

Savile Row heritage. Italian ease. A modern House for a global clientele.

Mathieu Castanier

Mathieu Castanier is a Savile Row-trained master tailor and grand couturier. The House he founded joins the discipline of British tailoring, the fluency of Italian sartorial culture and a discreet embrace of modern technology, to dress a private clientele across three continents.

The craft

Our story begins where every garment does: with a single paper pattern, cut for one client alone and refined through successive fittings until balance, structure and drape are perfect. The rigour of London’s Savile Row remains at the heart of the House.

To this foundation we add the softness of Italian construction: natural shoulders, easy movement, an understated sprezzatura. The result is a silhouette that is precise yet never rigid, elegant yet effortless to wear.

Innovation, with purpose

Our methods remain artisanal, but we welcome innovation where it truly serves the client. A proprietary 3D configurator lets you explore cloths, details and proportions before the first cut, while precise measurement supports footwear of exceptional comfort. Over twenty measurements and posture-aware adjustments inform every commission.

Around the world

At the atelier by appointment, or through private trunk shows from New York and Miami to London, Geneva and Dubai, the House travels to its clients. One garment, one man, at a time.
