Few shoes are as demanding to make as a wholecut, and the MC Wall Street Black Patent, Red Goodyear Sole shows why, a single cut of leather, unbroken from toe to heel. For this colourway the atelier has used black patent, warm in daylight and darker under lamplight. It sits easily under a business suit and is just as convincing with flannel trousers on a Saturday.

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
