Slipped on rather than laced, the MC Penny Loafer Dark Brown Calf & Dark Brown Pebble Grain is a penny loafer built for the weekend and the office alike. Here it is cut in dark brown calf and dark brown pebble grain, chosen for depth of colour rather than for effect. Dress it up with worsted or down with cotton; it holds its own either way.

Lining: Orange calf leather

Sole: Leather sole with rubber mountain injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
