A penny loafer of quiet proportions, the MC Penny Loafer Burgundy Box Calf & Red Patent moves comfortably between tailoring and something looser. This version is made in burgundy box calf, red patent and dark brown pebble grain, finished by hand until the colour settles. Formal enough for the boardroom, relaxed enough for a long lunch afterwards.

Lining: Red calf leather

Sole: Brown Xtralight heeled rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Feed it now and then with a neutral or matching cream and a soft brush; the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
