A penny loafer of quiet proportions, the MC Penny Loafer Brown Patina, Brown Sole moves comfortably between tailoring and something looser. Here it is cut in brown patina, chosen for depth of colour rather than for effect. Formal enough for the boardroom, relaxed enough for a long lunch afterwards.

Materials: Brown patina

Lining: Brown calf leather

Sole: Brown Goodyear Welt, mixed leather and rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
