The apron toe is the whole argument. On this Moc Toe it is stitched by hand above dark brown box calf, aubergine patina and fire patina, giving a plain, hard-wearing silhouette the kind of quiet luxury the original never claimed.

Lining: brown calf leather

Sole: original Vibram® rubber wedge sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

An occasional application of cream, buffed with a soft brush, will see the leather deepen into a rich patina over time.
