The MC Mayfair Black Alligator is a derby: open lacing, quarters stitched over the vamp, and a little more ease than an oxford. This version is made in black alligator, finished by hand until the colour settles. It belongs with tailoring, though it takes to denim without complaint.

Materials: Black exotic alligator

Lining: Red calf leather

Sole: Red Goodyear Welt, mixed leather and rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A lightly damp cloth is enough for the exotic skin; allow it to dry naturally, away from direct heat.
