A single strap and buckle across the vamp define the MC Jazz Grey Full Grain & Grey Croco, the most understated of the monks. Rendered in grey full grain and grey crocodile-print calf, the pair carries its colour with the restraint the shape asks for. It carries weddings and board meetings with the same composure.

Materials: Grey painted full grain, grey painted croco

Lining: Brown calf leather

Sole: Dark red Goodyear Welt, leather sole with rubber dots injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
