Fastened by a single buckled strap, the MC Jazz Brown Patina keeps the monk's character without any excess. Here it is cut in brown patina, chosen for depth of colour rather than for effect. It carries weddings and board meetings with the same composure.

Sole: Dark red Goodyear Welt, leather sole with buttons rubber injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
