The MC Chicago Denim Patina Premium Leather carries the double monk's twin straps, a considered departure from conventional lacing. Here it is cut in denim patina, chosen for depth of colour rather than for effect. Wear it to the office through the week and to dinner without changing a thing.

Sole: Brown Goodyear Welt leather sole with mountain rubber injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Nourish the upper occasionally with a matching cream and finish with a soft brush; it will deepen into a rich patina over time.
