An exercise in formality, the Balmoral draws on vintage European bootmaking: closed channel lacing, a close-fitting shaft, a refined last. Cut here in tweed sartorial and brown camo patina, it rewards the wearer who dresses with intention. Lasted by hand and finished slowly, it is a boot meant to be worn hard and kept for years.

Materials: tweed sartorial, brown camo patina

Lining: brown calf leather

Sole: cognac Goodyear Welt, leather sole with mountain rubber injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Care is simple: a soft brush, used gently and often.
