Few shoes are as demanding to make as a wholecut, and the MC Wall Street Black Pebble Grain shows why, a single cut of leather, unbroken from toe to heel. Here it is cut in black pebble grain, chosen for depth of colour rather than for effect. It belongs with tailoring, though it takes to denim without complaint.

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
