The MC Penny Loafer Medium Brown Box Calf, Brown Sole is a penny loafer: no laces, a clean saddle across the vamp, and an easy way of dressing. The upper is medium brown box calf, hand-finished so the tone reads differently from every angle. Dress it up with worsted or down with cotton; it holds its own either way.

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Feed it now and then with a neutral or matching cream and a soft brush; the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
