It comes here in black box calf and ivory kid suede, a combination that rewards a closer look. Dress it up with worsted or down with cotton; it holds its own either way.

Materials: Black box calf, ivory kid suede

Lining: Orange calf leather

Sole: Cognac Goodyear Welt, mixed leather and rubber sole with higher heel

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Feed it now and then with a neutral or matching cream and a soft brush; the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
