An oxford built on closed lacing, the MC Oxford Dark Brown Box Calf, Brown Sole keeps its lines taut and its detailing restrained. This pair is worked in dark brown box calf, a colourway that shifts in the light rather than shouting. Dress it up with worsted or down with cotton; it holds its own either way.

Sole: Brown Goodyear welt leather sole with button rubber injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Nourish the upper occasionally with a matching cream and finish with a soft brush; it will deepen into a rich patina over time.
