A derby of clean proportion, the MC Mayfair Denim Patina, Leather Sole lets its open lacing do the work. This pair is worked in denim patina, a colourway that shifts in the light rather than shouting. It belongs with tailoring, though it takes to denim without complaint.

Materials: Denim patina

Lining: Navy calf leather

Sole: Leather sole with rubber mountain injections

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Nourish the upper occasionally with a matching cream and finish with a soft brush; it will deepen into a rich patina over time.
