The MC Mayfair Dark Brown Box Calf is a derby: open lacing, quarters stitched over the vamp, and a little more ease than an oxford. This version is made in dark brown box calf, finished by hand until the colour settles. It carries weddings and board meetings with the same composure.

Materials: Dark brown box calf leather

Sole: Forest green Goodyear Welt mixed leather-rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Nourish the upper occasionally with a matching cream and finish with a soft brush; it will deepen into a rich patina over time.
