The MC Mayfair Cognac Patina, Cognac Sole is a derby: open lacing, quarters stitched over the vamp, and a little more ease than an oxford. The upper is cognac patina, hand-finished so the tone reads differently from every angle. Formal enough for the boardroom, relaxed enough for a long lunch afterwards.

Materials: Cognac patina leather

Sole: Cognac Goodyear Welt mixed leather-rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
