Open lacing gives the MC Mayfair Burgundy Full Grain, Brick Sole the derby's generosity, comfortable under a suit and equally at home without one. Rendered in burgundy full grain, the pair carries its colour with the restraint the shape asks for. It belongs with tailoring, though it takes to denim without complaint.

Lining: Navy calf leather

Sole: Brick Xtralight heeled rubber sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

Nourish the upper occasionally with a matching cream and finish with a soft brush; it will deepen into a rich patina over time.
