A single strap and buckle across the vamp define the MC Jazz Navy Calf & Burgundy Box Calf, the most understated of the monks. The upper is navy calf and burgundy box calf, hand-finished so the tone reads differently from every angle. It suits city days and the evenings that follow them.

Materials: Navy painted calf, burgundy box calf

Lining: Red calf leather

Sole: Dark red Goodyear Welt, leather sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
