Soft as a slipper but structured through the top panel, the MC Edward Medium Brown Calf & Navy Calf belongs to the Belgian tradition. For this colourway the atelier has used medium brown calf and navy calf, warm in daylight and darker under lamplight. It belongs with tailoring, though it takes to denim without complaint.

Materials: Medium brown painted calf, navy painted calf

Lining: Tan calf leather

Sole: Cognac slipper leather sole

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
