A Belgian slipper with a low, unhurried line, the MC Edward Black Patent is made for evenings and unhurried days. Here it is cut in black patent, chosen for depth of colour rather than for effect. A shoe for the working week that never looks out of place at the weekend.

Made to order in the Mathieu Castanier atelier, hand-lasted, hand-finished and built to be resoled for decades. Available in EU, UK and US sizes, or fully personalised through the 3D atelier.

A little cream worked in with a soft brush is all it asks, and the leather will deepen into a rich patina over time.
