Every pair is made to order on the House last. The table below gives the correspondence between the three scales used on our product pages, where each size is shown as EU, UK and US together.

Measuring Your Foot

1. Measure at the end of the day, when the foot is at its fullest, and wear the socks you intend to wear with the shoes.
2. Stand on a sheet of paper placed against a wall, heel touching the wall.
3. Mark the paper at the tip of the longest toe, then measure the distance from the wall to the mark.
4. Measure both feet and use the longer of the two.

Choosing Your Size

Our lasts run true to size for most feet. If your measurement falls between two sizes, take the larger one for a boot and the smaller for a loafer or a slipper, which will relax slightly with wear.

Should you hesitate between two sizes, or should your foot require a wider or narrower fit, write to us before ordering. We would rather advise you first than exchange a pair afterwards.
